The company is comprised of three major divisions that work synergistically to provide a high level of service and efficiency in all our major fields of endeavor. To date, the Design-Build Group has completed millions of square feet of renovation and new construction, most recently completing a multimillion- dollar terminal renovation and expansion at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our team is well-equipped to handle projects ranging in size and scope from regional airports to international hubs.

The Field Services Group has provided passenger boarding bridge, baggage conveyor, PCA, and 400 HZ rehabilitation, design, installation, and maintenance support to over 70 airports. Working in concert with the Design-Build Group, it has been an important component of renovation projects.

Keeping pace with the changing face of the airline and airport industry, Vic Thompson Company is also drawing on its staff’s diverse experience to offer cutting-edge products and services. Since 1998, the Technology Group has designed, prototyped, developed, and manufactured our own specialty products for the industry. Our line of products now includes the PBB Flexible Baggage Slide™, the Y2000 Commuter Ramp™, the Versatile Innovative Conveyor (VIC) System™, the standard and automated BOB-M™, and the VTC Bagwell Queue™.

We are continually striving to improve the safety and efficiency of air travel through its assistance of airports and airlines with their aviation security issues at more than 60 airports nationwide. Our professional security services include developing security screening procedures, conducting feasibility studies, evaluating SSCP/BHS/EDS designs, operational testing of new security measures for checked baggage, and designing and implementing comprehensive Baggage Handling and Explosive Detection Systems.
